Mr Ellis performed my knee replacement surgery on 9th November and today, December 26th, I can say that apart from a little stiffness and a few twinges I am recovering really well.
I saw Mr Ellis last week for my 6 week post operative consultation and was able to discuss my recovery experience in full with him. It was very reassuring to find that none of the symptoms I had encountered were unusual and that I was making excellent progress!
I would like to thank Mr Ellis for his excellent care and the sensitive manner in which he communicates, always answering questions fully.

Mr Ellis was very thorough in his explanation with the issues I have with my knee. I have seen many knee specialists over the years and Mr Ellis (along with Mr Fleetcroft) have been the best by far.
Although I am too young for a joint replacement he has referred me to Professor Shetty which I am very much looking forward to seeing as Mr Ellis informed me and I have read some extremely good things about Prof Shetty.

I have just had a total knee replacement , everything that was explained and recommended to me pre-op and post-op was excellent . The operation was an amazing experience having opted for the epidural anaesthetic for a faster recovery ,this was recommended by Mr Ellis . The whole team were fantastic.

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent.
